First Dogecoin-inspired restaurant opens in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Dubai opened burger restaurant inspired by the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, it is called DogeBurger and is “the first Dogecoin-inspired online e-commerce platform officially launched in the UAE and is the first online e-commerce platform inspired by the popular Doge meme.

Launched by Rocket Kitchens, a chain of successful virtual restaurants with a wide portfolio of startups and kitchens, Doge Burger is the chain’s first cryptocurrency-based hospitality concept that will allow consumers in the UAE to order and pay for their food with digital currency,” as explained on its website.

The restaurant will allow payments with cryptocurrencies, not only Doge, but also Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, CRO, XRP, USDT and even Shiba Inu, the rival doggie meme currency.

The wrappers of the burger and other products have images alluding to Doge, but additionally to terms, names and phrases typical of the crypto ecosystem, such as Hodl, Satoshi Nakamoto, Wen Lambo…, Crypto is the future.

On the menu, the restaurant offers typical burgers (beef, chicken and veggie), fries as well as hot dogs or hot dogs.

Customers can place orders through the restaurant’s website, where the cost of the burgers will range from 35 to 50 dirhams (USD $9.5 to $13.6).s

The seed capital used to open the restaurant comes from profits emanating from its first investments in Dogecoin, according to local media in the city.

The restaurant is looking to capitalize on the growing shift toward cryptocurrency payments in the UAE.
